It&#39;s been a couple of years since we came here and we were pleasantly surprised with the friendly and super attentive staff and the food was as good as I remembered it. Will definitely come back!

Nestled in a new development in Barker street, Randwick, Baccomatto Osteria ( yes its a mouthful) offers a paired down Italian family style experience. Osteria translates as Tavern, but there is nothing boisterous about Baccomatto. Sunday lunch was relatively quiet so we opted for the set price 4 course lunch for $55 per person and a glass or Italian Rose. The range of dishes was well balanced and perfectly cooked including a fragrant onion foccacia, featherlight battered squid, porcetta with sage and cabbage salad and a delicate cocoa crusted tiramisu.  The service here is always exemplary, even though we had a relative newbee, I am sure they will soon learn the ropes.

I loved the atmosphere, and the food was great! A cute restaurant that I will definitely come back to.

Exceptionally tasty curries - we had the malai kofta and also a fish curry which we ordered off the menu and the chef was happy to accommodate. Attentive service and my favourite spot for dinner prior to seeing a movie at the ritz next door.

Food was delicious, service was excellent but the music was a little too loud for our table.

Excellent - great food and speedy service with a friendly atmosphere. And good value.
